Senior Accountant (M/F)

About the role

Fundamentals S.A. is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of companies, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with Luxembourg GAAP and tax regulations. The role offers the chance to work with diverse clients in a dynamic, innovation‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records, cashbook entries, expenses, and payroll for assigned companies.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end transactions, including annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP.
• Compile and file tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns, and regulatory reports (e.g., BCL reports).
• Analyse legal documents such as sales, purchase, and loan agreements.
• Respond to inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities.
• Support junior accountants and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Stay updated on accounting, regulatory, tax, and legal changes and advise management accordingly.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a fiduciary environment.
• Strong written and verbal French communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Proactive, autonomous, and methodical with excellent prioritisation abilities.
