Quality & Compliance Manager – Ground Operations

About the role

The Quality & Compliance Manager for Ground Operations will ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met within the airline's ground handling area. You will lead internal and external audits, maintain documentation, and support both authorities and customers during inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and support the implementation of legal requirements in the assigned ground‑operations area.
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits and inspections.
• Supervise manuals, procedures, forms and instructions, ensuring conformity with regulations before release.
• Update departmental quality indicators in line with current legal and internal standards.
• Assist authorities and customers during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Support the revision of departmental documentation and the Quality Manual.
• Participate in special projects such as IATA pool audits.
• Check and update qualifications of technical staff and issue qualification cards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in aviation quality or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of applicable aviation regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in French or German.
• Willingness to travel frequently for duty.
• Self‑disciplined, highly organized, autonomous and flexible.
• Qualified auditor with experience using quality‑assurance tools.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of data.
• Additional language skills (e.g., Luxembourgish) are a plus.
