Procurement & Vendor Resource Manager

About the role

As a member of Deloitte's Procurement team in Luxembourg, you will lead the external resource management function. You will design and execute category strategies, source and onboard suppliers, and ensure that external talent aligns with the firm’s business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for freelancers, agencies and consulting firms.
• Assess resource demand, market trends and spend data to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and terms, and maintain multi‑tier global rate cards.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct business reviews and enforce SLAs.
• Handle end‑to‑end procurement requests, from need assessment to quotation comparison and contract finalisation.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to forecast resource requirements.
• Work with Compliance and Legal to ensure contracts meet internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, category management or vendor management, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend data and market benchmarks.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
