Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team in Dudelange, Luxembourg, to design and develop beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters, you will contribute to the full product development cycle, delivering high‑quality, reliable, and cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate design concepts and produce a design selection matrix based on the project scope.
• Execute detailed designs applying company standards and perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation, validation plans, and support cross‑functional teams worldwide.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones, and communicate status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in mold or tooling environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Experience with virtual simulation tools is a plus.
