Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will review and improve logistics documentation, advise on workflow optimisation, and support project teams with clear, expert guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse, and validate logistics documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers for authenticity, accuracy and compliance.
• Develop annotated sample documentation that showcases best practices in logistics and supply‑chain management.
• Assess current supply‑chain workflows and recommend practical improvements based on real‑world experience.
• Provide detailed feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document structure and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and explain complex logistics concepts clearly.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities by validating the relevance and correctness of supply‑chain data sets.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials that reflect industry standards and nuanced supply‑chain challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics and supply‑chain management, especially with packing lists, bills of lading and inventory registers.
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows, documentation and global supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven analytical ability to identify process improvements.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
