Freelance Technical Project Manager – HPC, AI & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Technical Project Manager to lead HPC, AI and infrastructure projects from qualification through delivery. You will act as the bridge between Presales and Operations, turning sold solutions into clear, executable plans while keeping customers aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Support Presales in technical qualification, closing the gap between commercial offers and delivery needs.
• Plan schedules, resources, dependencies and risks; govern milestones using Jira.
• Orchestrate activities across Production, Delivery and Deploy teams, ensuring timely technical information flow.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for progress, milestones and acceptance.
• Develop systematic qualification checklists and improve hand‑over processes between Presales and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a STEM field or Management with a strong technical component, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project management or technical coordination, preferably in IT infrastructure, datacenter, systems integration or HPC/AI.
• Mid‑level autonomy on standard projects; not required to be a vertical specialist.
• Nice‑to‑have: PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum certification; experience with public tenders and RFPs; familiarity with HPC/AI or cluster environments.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IT/datacenter infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, clusters).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical offers and Bills of Materials.
• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking.
