Financial Accountant – SPV & Fund Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing team in Luxembourg City. You will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Luxembourg‑domiciled funds, corporate clients and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), working closely with accountants, legal professionals and compliance specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for corporate entities and SPVs.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and core fund accounting deliverables, including transaction bookings, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, investor allocations and fee calculations.
• Produce financial statements and reports in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate year‑end audit processes and handle payments and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, corporate tax declarations and regulatory reports (CSSF, BCL, ECDF).
• Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors and legal counsel.
• Participate in client, board and shareholder meetings and support process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in fund or SPV accounting, preferably within the Luxembourg financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
