Data Protection Analyst

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Data Protection Analyst to join its Internal Firm Services team. You will support the Data Protection office in ensuring compliance with PwC policies, standards, and applicable data‑privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Data Protection Manager with daily operations of the Data Protection Program.
• Collaborate with Lines of Service to translate control objectives into practical measures and monitor project implementation.
• Guide internal owners (Data Office, Project Managers, IT, Legal) in completing documentation such as the Register of Processing Activities.
• Identify gaps between data processing activities and PwC standards, and support risk‑analysis, TIA, DPIA, LIA assessments.
• Conduct interviews, audits, and surveys with business and IT stakeholders to assess compliance and recommend improvements.
• Support remediation activities and help inventory personal data processing and related assets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data‑protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and assess compliance gaps.
