Data Engineer – Cloud & Data Platform

About the role

You will join the Data Factory within PwC Luxembourg’s Central Data Office, a multidisciplinary team that designs and operates the firm’s core data ingestion and integration platforms. In this role you will ensure trusted data is available for analytics and decision‑making across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines on Databricks to ingest and transform data from diverse sources.
• Evolve and optimise data processing architectures for performance and scalability.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, monitoring and availability in production.
• Contribute to the modernisation and migration of existing pipelines and tools.
• Diagnose and resolve complex data issues with sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, IT and business teams to deliver trusted data outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a data engineer with hands‑on expertise in Databricks.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or .NET and advanced SQL for data processing.
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Professional proficiency in English (C1) and French (C1).
