Cybersecurity Experienced Manager

About the role

Join PwC's Cybersecurity practice as an Experienced Manager, working with multidisciplinary teams to help financial services and other organisations strengthen resilience, navigate evolving regulations and address emerging technology risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements at the intersection of cybersecurity, risk and regulation.
• Advise senior stakeholders, including CISOs and executive teams, on governance, risk management and resilience strategies.
• Drive regulatory transformation programmes for DORA, NIS2 and related frameworks, defining compliance roadmaps and implementation priorities.
• Assess and enhance the security posture of AI and GenAI initiatives, covering governance, access controls and third‑party risk.
• Translate technical risks into clear business insights for management and board level decision‑making.
• Design and implement cybersecurity roadmaps that balance risk reduction, operational needs and investment priorities.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of client engagements, coordinating teams, mitigating delivery risks and ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Strengthen client relationships, identify emerging needs and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, MIS or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security or IT risk management.
• Proven experience leading client engagements and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity governance and risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DORA, NIS2, EBA, CSSF and the EU AI Act.
• Hands‑on experience applying ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 standards in client environments.
• Experience assessing security for AI and Generative AI initiatives.
