Tax Compliance Manager - Alternative Investments

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join our Luxembourg office and support a leading global alternative investment manager. You will be responsible for Luxembourg and international tax compliance, while driving strategic tax projects and the implementation of Pillar II across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Luxembourg direct and indirect tax compliance for a broad portfolio of investment structures.
• Coordinate and review Corporate Income Tax, Municipal Business Tax, Net Wealth Tax and VAT filings.
• Maintain relationships with external tax advisers and ensure timely, accurate tax return submissions.
• Monitor changes in Luxembourg and international tax legislation and assess business impact.
• Lead tax projects related to new fund launches, acquisitions, restructurings and cross‑border investments.
• Own Pillar II implementation, including data collection, reporting, governance and ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance to reflect tax reporting requirements in financial statements and support tax provisioning under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Advise internal stakeholders on tax implications of investment structures and transactions.
• Support transfer pricing documentation, tax audits and develop internal tax controls and policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Law.
• Professional tax qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA) is advantageous.
• 5+ years of tax experience in an international investment manager, Big Four, corporate tax advisory or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg corporate taxation and tax compliance.
• Experience within the alternative investment industry (private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy).
