Software Quality Assurance Tester (Manual & Automated)

About the role

Finologee is seeking a hands‑on Software Quality Assurance Tester to join its growing FinTech team. You will work on both manual and automated testing across payments, KYC, compliance and messaging solutions, contributing to high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional and regression test scenarios, both manually and with automation.
• Leverage AI‑based tools to accelerate test design, defect analysis, documentation, exploratory testing and test data preparation.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from design through production deployment and post‑production support.
• Collaborate with product owners to analyse requirements, identify gaps and assess cross‑application impacts.
• Work closely with developers to ensure changes are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
• Maintain optimal test coverage, report defects with detailed information and support bug‑fix prioritisation.
• Monitor automated test suite results, investigate failures, update tests or log new defects.
• Identify gaps in automation coverage and propose new automated scenarios.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date testing documentation, including features, processes and best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with rapid software testing, black‑box testing or session‑based test management.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
• Initial experience with automation frameworks and concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous execution.
• Understanding of software life‑cycle, build and deployment mechanisms.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
