Senior Associate – VAT Consulting

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Associate to join its VAT practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, providing expert advice on value‑added tax (VAT) and other indirect tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on technical VAT issues and indirect tax planning.
• Draft VAT opinions for banks, insurers, financial firms, industrial companies, real‑estate developers, and public‑sector organisations.
• Support clients on related matters such as registration and customs duties, when required.
• Collaborate with other PwC departments in Luxembourg and abroad.
• Deliver in‑house and external training sessions and participate in industry conferences.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure delivery of high‑quality services.

Required profile

• University degree in law or economics with a specialised degree in tax law.
• 3–5 years of experience in indirect taxation, either in a corporate international tax department, a law firm, or as a tax advisor.
• Fluency in English; French or German is an asset.
• Methodical, organised approach with strong analytical and communication abilities.
