Program Manager – Same Day Scaling (Vespa)

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the scaling of its Same‑Day delivery operations across Europe. You will coordinate end‑to‑end initiatives, work with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, and drive improvements that enable faster, lower‑cost deliveries for speed‑sensitive items such as groceries and perishables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate across Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, Fulfillment and Middle‑mile teams to develop and launch the Vespa program.
• Align with procurement on carrier requirements, support negotiations and expand service coverage.
• Integrate specialty products (non‑sort, groceries, perishables, hazmat) into the Same‑Day offering.
• Use data analysis to identify operational challenges and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in a program environment, managing stakeholders, processes and standards.
• Manage performance of external logistics providers and drive scaling efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in program or project management.
• Strong ability to use data and metrics to drive operational improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery and presenting results to senior leadership.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA.
