Manager VAT Compliance – Tax Services

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Manager VAT Compliance to join its fast‑growing indirect tax practice. You will lead VAT compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, helping them navigate complex VAT, GST and sales tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee VAT compliance obligations and filings for multiple clients across various industries.
• Provide technical VAT advice on domestic and cross‑border transactions.
• Support clients during VAT audits and act as liaison with tax authorities.
• Coach and develop junior team members, delivering technical training sessions.
• Contribute to process improvements and the development of tax technology tools.
• Monitor changes in local and European VAT legislation and identify related risks and opportunities for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in VAT compliance within an accounting or tax consultancy firm, either in Luxembourg or abroad.
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge, with a focus on VAT.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality service.
• Experience supporting VAT audits and interacting with tax authorities.
