Junior Primary Process Engineer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are a family‑owned Luxembourg company with more than 175 years of experience in the tobacco industry. As a Junior Primary Process Engineer you will support the stabilization and standardisation of our primary manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a safety role model by adhering to all prescribed safety rules.
• Monitor daily line performance and produce regular reports.
• Lead problem‑solving initiatives using appropriate continuous‑improvement tools.
• Create and maintain standardisation documents such as SOPs, OPLs, cleaning plans and LPA.
• Perform statistical analysis of processes and present findings in reports and graphs.

Required profile

• MSc in Engineering (process or chemical engineering preferred).
• Fluent German with very good French and English; Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Problem‑solver mindset with the ability to grasp complex processes.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in all required languages.
• Good people skills, project‑management capability and autonomy.
