Financial Services Consultant – Banking & Wealth Management

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Financial Services Consultant to join its Transformation Consulting team. You will work on banking and asset‑and‑wealth‑management projects, helping clients shape strategy, redesign operations and manage change.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine client strategies, operating models and end‑to‑end processes.
• Advise on appropriate systems and technology solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Support performance optimisation across organisation, project management, operations and data analytics.
• Conduct market studies, benchmarking and vendor selection analyses.
• Contribute to business development by researching, drafting discussion papers and generating proposals.
• Assist in creating client offers and proposals.
• Develop expertise in regulatory and operational frameworks specific to banking and wealth management.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to build trusted client relationships and new service offerings.

Required profile

• University, engineering school or business school degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a bank, asset‑management firm or consulting environment.
• Exposure to management consulting or the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of banking and asset‑and‑wealth‑management trends and drivers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑judgment abilities.
• Proactive, organized and able to deliver high‑quality work independently.
• Quick learner with the capacity to grasp complex topics rapidly.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.

Required skills
