Cybersecurity / IT Security Consultant – French Speaker

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a French‑speaking Cybersecurity / IT Security Consultant to join its Luxembourg office. You will work within a multinational consulting team, supporting clients across financial services, life sciences, retail and energy sectors. The role combines security architecture, risk assessment and incident management to ensure robust protection of client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Security Architect for IT projects, guaranteeing that security requirements are fully integrated.
• Perform security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and recommend mitigation measures.
• Manage security incidents, DLP alerts and routine security requests.
• Maintain security procedures, documentation and governance processes.
• Coordinate application penetration testing and oversee remediation activities.
• Contribute to Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) and due‑diligence assessments.
• Support group‑wide security controls, compliance initiatives and promote security awareness.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure ongoing security compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber security, information security or security governance.
• Strong background in security risk assessment, vulnerability and incident management.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, DORA and CISSP.
• Knowledge of business continuity and third‑party risk management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation abilities.
• Professional, proactive and detail‑oriented mindset.
