V.I.E. Software Developer – DevOps Automation (Luxembourg)

About the role

Join OPM Luxembourg’s automation team as a V.I.E. Software Developer. You will work on building and maintaining API platforms and automation tools that support GTE offers and Luxembourg infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance API platforms (ULISS, BeAPI, TELEMAC) on Linux and Swagger.
• Develop and expose infrastructure services through REST APIs and a user‑friendly GUI portal.
• Improve deployment pipelines and support continuous delivery.
• Assist and train system engineers in DevOps best practices.
• Design tools to automate application delivery in production environments.
• Report operational indicators and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with RedHat Linux, Bash scripting and core infrastructure components (Active Directory, VMware, DNS, Ansible, load balancers).
• Hands‑on knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL, and cluster mechanisms.
• Proven DevOps experience in Python development, both back‑end and front‑end, with a focus on REST APIs.
• Fluent English communication skills.
