Transfer Agent Associate 1

About the role

State Street is looking for a Transfer Agent Associate 1 to join its Dealing team in Luxembourg. The associate reviews and implements strict data quality processes and complies with the regulatory regimes covering Client Assets and Data Protection. The role is performed under supervision, within defined procedures, and reports to a Line Manager at Officer level.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with regulatory regimes, in particular Client Asset, Data Protection and Financial Crime regulations and risk.
• Follow procedures accurately and on time, exercise due diligence and keep processes organised and under control.
• Meet business standards and client deadlines consistently, plan quality service delivery and continuously review practices.
• Show integrity in the execution of duties and follow the operational principles PACE & L (Professional, Accountable, Client Focused, Excellence and Leadership).
• Oversee delegated parties to ensure adherence to SLAs, deadlines and operating models.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree; financial or business education is an asset.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; additional EU languages such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish or Italian are an asset.
• Team-oriented, flexible, able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Administrative and business support skills.
• Clear, methodical problem-solving approach and organisation skills.
