Testing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Testing Specialist to join COSMOTE Global Solutions and support quality assurance across a range of ICT projects. The role involves designing, executing, and coordinating both manual and automated testing activities to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and scripts (manual and automated) aligned with project requirements.
• Identify, document, track and report defects, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and project managers to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing frameworks and tools.
• Participate in review sessions to provide quality feedback on requirements and design.
• Support release planning and coordinate testing activities during release cycles.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience with frontend development (HTML, CSS) and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring and JEE frameworks.
• Understanding of database design principles and SQL.
• Proficiency in designing, managing, executing and reporting tests using manual and automation tools.
• Experience with test management tools and developing automated API tests.
