Tender Package Manager - Offshore Foundations

About the role

DEME Offshore, part of DEME, provides solutions for offshore windfarm projects worldwide. Its Luxembourg procurement division is looking for experienced professionals to manage tender packages for offshore foundations procurement. The role is based in Luxembourg and involves complex budgeting and tendering for EPCI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex procurement strategies and programs to source offshore foundations effectively and efficiently
• Manage complex budgeting and tendering for EPCI projects covering procurement and fabrication of offshore windfarm foundations
• Lead and supervise a team of Procurement Engineers through all procurement phases, from ITT preparation to subcontract awards in line with EPCI tender and contract requirements
• Lead negotiations with tenderers and the supply chain at executive level
• Assess tenders for commercial, contractual, technical and project planning compliance, including risks and opportunities
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and select successful tenders
• Support the development of EPCI tender strategies and programs

Required profile

• Master's degree in engineering, industrial engineering or management
• At least 8 years of proven experience in EPCI project environments
• Relevant experience in EPCI procurement or EPCI project management
• Background preferably in offshore renewables; offshore oil & gas, shipbuilding or similar EPCI industries also considered
• Fluent English; French or Chinese is a strong asset
• Willingness to work from Luxembourg and travel regularly abroad
