Technology Executive Director – Capital Markets

About the role

This senior position leads all technology activities for the Capital Markets unit in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day technical support, staff line management, regulatory compliance and representing the firm before the CSSF.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑user infrastructure service delivery and operations for the Luxembourg legal entity.
• Coordinate with the UK support team to manage user support, enterprise technology changes and the local data room.
• Monitor service levels, drive continuous improvement and manage incident resolution.
• Develop and enforce policies for reporting, tracking and resolving client issues.
• Lead operational resilience initiatives, including business continuity planning and change management.
• Ensure compliance with CSSF regulations, conduct horizon scanning and manage third‑party governance.
• Represent the firm on European regulatory committees and support branch expansion strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services technology, preferably within investment banking.
• Familiarity with CSSF regulations and audit processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
