Technical Officer (Construction Engineering)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Officer specialized in Construction Engineering to support the design, construction and maintenance of military infrastructure across Europe. The role involves technical reporting, contract administration and project management within a multicultural NATO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports and statements of work for civil, mechanical and electrical projects.
• Administer contracts and oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance standards.
• Coordinate resource management for construction activities and base operating support.
• Facilitate presentations and negotiations with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Utilize technical support software, including AutoCAD, for design and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of professional experience in engineering and military infrastructure construction.
• Proficiency in technical report and SOW writing.
• Experience in contract administration and project management.
• Knowledge of QA standards and ability to work in English; French is a plus.
