Tax Compliance Officer – QI, FATCA, CRS

About the role

As a Tax Compliance Officer you will act as the subject‑matter expert for all tax compliance matters across the VP Bank Group, focusing on Qualified Intermediary (QI), FATCA and CRS regulations. You will work closely with local and international colleagues to ensure robust regulatory oversight and support the bank’s clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on QI, FATCA and CRS compliance for VP Bank entities.
• Execute controls during onboarding, periodic reviews and event‑driven processes.
• Implement internal control system (ICS) activities and respond to related inquiries.
• Conduct second‑line defence checks for annual reporting.
• Support technical implementation of international tax topics.
• Prepare and maintain fact sheets, guidelines, process descriptions, work instructions, client forms and group standards.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in tax compliance (QI, FATCA, CRS/AEOI).
• Ability to quickly grasp new topics and translate complex issues into practical solutions.
• Precise, structured and reliable working style.
• High commitment and resilience in demanding situations.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.
