Student Officer – Accommodation Team

About the role

The University of Luxembourg is looking for a Student Officer to join its Accommodation Team within the Student Affairs and Student Life Service. The role supports the administrative and operational management of student housing, ensuring smooth processes and high‑quality service for a diverse, international student body.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily email and ticket inquiries and operate the telephone helpline.
• Welcome and inform students both in person and remotely.
• Prepare, check, and manage tenancy agreements, verify eligibility, and track signatures.
• Update and monitor arrival and departure lists for local authorities and cleaning schedules.
• Perform administrative follow‑up on contracts, including inventory updates, scanning, filing, and forwarding documents to Finance.
• Assist with daily accounting closures related to accommodation activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the accommodation team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or initial experience in a comparable administrative role.
• High proficiency with standard IT tools.
• Proactive, reliable, open‑minded and diplomatic attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural and multilingual university environment.
• Very good written and spoken English and French; German is a plus.
