Sr. Industrial Hygienist, Safety Engineer

About the role

We are expanding our Worldwide Industrial Hygiene team and are looking for a senior professional to join the global field organization supporting the EU and AMET regions. The Sr. Industrial Hygienist, Safety Engineer will act as the subject‑matter expert for industrial hygiene, assessing risks, designing exposure‑monitoring programs and providing technical support during and after incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a cross‑functional resource for industrial hygiene and provide expert exposure‑assessment support to field operations.
• Research historical and multi‑source information, staying aware of external trends and applicable regulations.
• Apply industrial hygiene principles using modeling, data analysis and other methods to eliminate or reduce injury/illness risk.
• Support industrial hygiene requests from operations, including incident response and post‑incident investigations.
• Develop and recommend exposure‑control strategies and lead field‑based projects addressing hygiene risks.
• Communicate effectively with WHS leadership, legal, procurement, finance and operational teams.
• Provide industrial hygiene input for new facilities and projects during design reviews.
• Maintain subject‑matter expertise across the full range of industrial hygiene hazards.
