Space Systems Engineer – Contract (Luxembourg)

About the role

Join a cutting‑edge space technology company in Luxembourg as a Space Systems Engineer on a contract basis. You will support two active programmes – one nearing final test and verification and another at the requirements definition stage – ensuring hardware progresses smoothly toward qualification and flight.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, validate, and manage requirements traceability.
• Develop test plans and oversee verification activities in line with ECSS standards.
• Perform system architecture, CONOPS, and technical trade‑off analyses.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Act as a technical liaison for customers and produce clear documentation.

Required profile

• Direct experience in space‑sector systems engineering.
• Full V‑lifecycle exposure (Phase A–E) and familiarity with ECSS standards.
• Proficiency with requirements‑management tools such as Jama or DOORS.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of space systems engineering experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.
