ServiceNow Team Lead – Platform Management

About the role

We are looking for a ServiceNow Team Lead to own the health, direction and value of the ServiceNow platform within a regulated financial services environment. The role combines technical authority with people‑leadership, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT leadership and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a ServiceNow roadmap aligned with business and IT strategy, with quarterly prioritisation and clear delivery milestones.
• Monitor platform health, address root causes of recurring issues and reduce unplanned outages and re‑work.
• Enforce governance, risk and compliance standards, maintain secure access models and ensure audit readiness.
• Promote out‑of‑the‑box capabilities, limit bespoke development and keep upgrade paths clean to reduce technical debt.
• Drive measurable business value through improved request fulfilment, reporting and workflow automation, and conduct regular stakeholder reviews.
• Mentor administrators and developers, facilitate knowledge transfer and reduce reliance on external vendors.

Required profile

• Motivated, team‑oriented professional with strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Hands‑on experience managing ServiceNow platforms in a complex, regulated environment.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and to make decisive technical decisions.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform administration and development.
• Experience with SDLC, release and change management processes.
• Knowledge of security, access control and audit requirements for financial services.
