Senior Supply Chain Manager – Rail Partnerships (Intermodal)

Join Amazon's Intermodal Transportation Team and help shape the future of logistics across multiple transportation modes. You will lead strategic initiatives, build lasting rail partnerships across the EU, and drive innovation to deliver the best customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end relationships with 1P rail partners as the primary Amazon point of contact for commercial, operational, and escalation topics.
• Drive partner performance against defined KPIs and lead business reviews with Amazon leadership and senior rail executives.
• Maintain the Rail Partner Performance Tracker, ensuring weekly data accuracy and trend visibility.
• Act as escalation point for partner‑related disruptions and manage the E2E process compliance framework for rail operations.
• Lead OP1/OP2 planning cycles, including capacity inputs, cost modelling, and corridor expansion business cases.
• Review performance with internal functions and external rail/terminal partners, track expansion progress, and build business cases for new corridors.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Network teams on operating models and data accuracy.
• Lead efficiency improvement programs to enhance operational performance across rail programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Experience in program or project management and in supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience managing external transportation partners or account management.
