Senior Quality Risk Officer – Tax (Assistant Manager)

About the role

Deloitte's Tax Quality & Risk Management (QRM) team is looking for a Senior Quality Risk Officer/Assistant Manager to help design, implement and monitor a robust QRM programme for the Tax business. You will work closely with the Tax Risk Leader and senior partners to ensure high‑quality standards and protect the firm’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for QRM‑related queries across the Tax department.
• Support the business in navigating QRM processes, including onboarding, contracting, delivery and termination.
• Design, test and roll out QRM projects and initiatives in collaboration with Legal, AML/CTF, Security and other internal teams.
• Document, update and manage QRM operations to align with global frameworks and local requirements.
• Participate in internal practice reviews and client portfolio risk reviews.
• Evaluate new digital tools and services from a QRM perspective.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and assist with QRM communication and training efforts.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Law, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2‑4 years of experience in Tax, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control or a similar field within a professional services environment.
• Analytical, risk‑minded and results‑oriented with the ability to propose practical solutions.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
