Senior QA Automation Engineer (Luxembourg)

About the role

Amaris Consulting seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a major digital transformation project in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of critical business applications by building and maintaining automated testing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end automated testing.
• Develop and maintain API test automation suites.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support resolution.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, and product owners to improve software quality.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and quality reporting.
• Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is a strong asset.
• ISTQB certification.

• Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Postman, RestAssured.
• Jira, Xray, TestRail.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile environments.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools, cloud environments and DevOps practices.
