Senior Procurement Officer (Pool Position)

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead procurement activities within a large, multinational organization, ensuring effective contract operations, price analysis and value‑for‑money outcomes. The role is part of a three‑year pool contract and may involve deployment to remote locations in support of NATO missions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation and award.
• Conduct thorough price analysis and market research to support cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with organisational policies and NATO regulations.
• Lead, mentor and supervise a dedicated team of procurement professionals.
• Develop and implement resourceful solutions to mitigate risks and improve performance metrics.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in procurement methods, price analysis and contract operations within a sizeable organisation.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and persuasive communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet short‑notice deadlines and deliver high‑quality results.
• Excellent digital literacy and proficiency with office automation tools.
