About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Java expertise to join a globally distributed team. You will work on a high‑scale data‑flow platform that serves thousands of organizations, building reliable, high‑throughput backend components.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Java backend services for a large‑scale distributed data platform.
• Write concurrent, high‑throughput code that remains stable under production load.
• Contribute to stream‑processing and data‑ingestion pipeline design and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve performance, reliability, and correctness issues in distributed components.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 3+ years of professional experience using Java as the primary language.
• Solid background in designing and operating distributed systems.
• Strong grasp of concurrent programming concepts and patterns.
• Experience with data‑flow, stream processing, or data‑pipeline infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
