Senior Investment Counselor – Central & Northern Europe

About the role

Citi Private Bank is seeking a Senior Investment Counselor to join its Luxembourg team, focusing on the Central and Northern Europe market. You will work closely with Private Bankers to deliver tailored investment solutions to ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals and family offices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, grow and manage investment relationships with UHNW clients (AUM ≥ $25 million) and single‑family offices.
• Advise clients on asset allocation across traditional (liquid) and alternative (illiquid) asset classes.
• Implement investment solutions using Citi’s global product platform, including capital‑markets and managed solutions.
• Collaborate with coverage teams, investment specialists, risk and compliance partners to meet sales targets.
• Execute brokerage activity, trade orders and ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Assess and manage investment risk, uphold regulatory compliance (MiFID, AIFMD) and Citi’s internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising UHNW clients and family offices, with a track record of managing assets of $25 million or more.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and alternative investment products.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to attract new client relationships.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach and ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
• Senior‑level professional comfortable operating in a fast‑paced private‑banking environment.
