Senior Financial Analyst – Regulatory Reporting (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specialized in regulatory reporting for a leading banking institution in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial statements, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Daily control of the general ledger and profit & loss accounts.
• Analyse and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly management and head‑office reports.
• Manage depreciation, provisions, and adjusting entries.
• Monitor and book bank fees, liquidity, and solvency ratios.
• Oversee tax monitoring, prepare and submit VAT and corporate income tax returns.
• Produce regulatory reports (BCL, BOP, CDDP, etc.).
• Coordinate supplier payments, invoice tracking, and internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking or audit environments.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Fluent in English or French; Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent analytical abilities, rigor, and autonomy.
