Senior Electronic Design Engineer (High Speed Electronics)

About the role

LUXUAV is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer specialized in high‑speed electronics to join its innovative UAV development team. The role focuses on translating system‑level requirements into robust PCB designs for digital, mixed‑signal, and power circuits while ensuring performance, manufacturability, and compliance with EMC/EMI standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert system specifications into detailed PCB design requirements.
• Create schematic captures and high‑speed PCB layouts for MCU, CPU, FPGA, GPU, mixed‑signal, and power domains.
• Apply EMC/EMI mitigation techniques and perform signal‑integrity analysis.
• Prototype, assemble, and validate PCB boards.
• Conduct Design‑for‑Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and prepare fabrication documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, optical, and software engineers for system integration.
• Support testing and debugging using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
• Maintain version‑controlled design data and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in schematic capture and high‑speed PCB layout for instrumentation or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of digital, mixed‑signal, and power circuit design, as well as EMC/EMI control.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC‑222X, IPC‑7351, IPC‑7352).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Experience with HyperLynx or comparable signal‑integrity tools.
• Use of version‑control systems such as Git.
• Hands‑on use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
• Knowledge of transmission‑line theory, impedance control, and termination strategies.
