Senior Data Analyst – Operational Tax

About the role

PWC Luxembourg is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join its Operational Tax team. You will work at the intersection of tax reporting and data analytics, turning complex data sets into actionable insights that support clients in the banking and finance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end transformation projects, from analysis and design through implementation, training and communication.
• Translate business needs into data solutions by collaborating with stakeholders across Operational Tax and Fund Administration.
• Analyse, cleanse and model large, multi‑source data sets to uncover trends and support decision‑making.
• Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports, ensuring the right information reaches the right people.
• Visualise findings and present results to stakeholders, turning analysis into concrete next steps.
• Leverage AI and modern data technologies to identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in data analysis, preferably within tax or financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.
