Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

Devoteam, an AI-driven tech consulting firm specialising in cloud, cyber, data and sustainability, is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant in Luxembourg. You will work across different client environments, from legacy systems and hybrid setups to regulatory pressure, going deep in at least two of the following domains: Cloud Security, Identity, Endpoint, Network, SIEM & Monitoring, Data Protection and Vulnerability Management.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls, policies and architectures tailored to each client's environment and risk profile.
• Operationalise frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls within real business and technical constraints.
• Assess cloud environments for misconfigurations and enforce security policies across hybrid and multi-cloud setups.
• Run the full vulnerability management cycle: scope, scan, analyse, track remediation and validate fixes.
• Tune detection rules, run correlation analysis and support incident triage in SIEM environments.
• Deliver security workshops, awareness sessions and reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Build reusable toolkits and contribute to knowledge sharing across the cybersecurity practice.

Required profile

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, consulting, internal security or technical delivery.
• Strong foundations: CIA triad, Zero Trust, least privilege and IAM.
• Proficiency in at least two of the listed domains.
• Bilingual French and English, writing and presenting in both.
• Rigor, analytical mindset, clear communication, collaboration and client orientation.

Required skills

• Active certification: Security+, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, Google PCSE or SC-900.
• Nice to have: CISSP, CCSP or ISO 27001 Implementer; experience in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare or critical infrastructure; familiarity with GDPR technical controls.
