Senior Business Analyst – Financial Services IT

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst at COSMOTE Global Solutions NV you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that high‑quality solutions are delivered to support the JASPERS platform and related financial services applications.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for users and coordinate with other IT teams.
• Prioritise, analyse, and resolve incidents, performing root‑cause analysis and documenting outcomes.
• Maintain a log of support requests and provide monthly summaries to the JASPERS QMU Officer.
• Update user manuals and identify opportunities to improve application design and operation.
• Support ad‑hoc data insertion, extraction and manipulation from the JASPERS RDBMS.
• Provide technical support, bug fixing and debugging in collaboration with users and IT teams.
• Propose solutions with effort estimations, execute testing, and manage release activities.
• Conduct evolutive maintenance, periodic clean‑up, and non‑regression testing.
• Drive continuous improvement, automate repetitive tasks and train junior resources.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree.
• Minimum 7 years of business analysis or requirements engineering experience in a financial services institution.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Hands‑on experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Strong problem‑resolution, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proven interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence senior leaders.
• Experience creating business case documentation and requirements summaries.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
