Senior Backend Developer – Node.js

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js to join our fast‑moving team. You will work closely with cross‑functional colleagues to expand our product portfolio, ensuring the platform delivers high‑quality, secure, and performant features for our users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to acquire domain knowledge and continuously improve the product suite.
• Define and refine development processes to boost quality and efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Build and sustain reliable services using both monolithic and micro‑service architectures.
• Prioritise security and performance in every development task.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience, preferably with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, including monoliths and microservices.
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Intrinsic motivation to create high‑quality APIs for colleagues and customers.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic, collaborative mindset.
• No formal education required – proven skills and experience are essential.
