Senior Accountant – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team of a leading international transport and logistics group in Luxembourg. The role is newly created to support the company’s continued growth and will involve managing the accounting for several Luxembourg entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for Luxembourg companies.
• Handle accounting and administrative matters for the assigned portfolio.
• Perform reconciliations and support regular reporting procedures.
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Coordinate and follow up on audit processes.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc finance and accounting projects.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable accounting position.
• Proven ability to manage Luxembourg company accounts independently.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Reliable, well‑organized and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (preferred).
• Experience with consolidated accounts.
