Sales Specialist

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Sales Specialist to join its Luxembourg team. You will be responsible for acquiring new small‑ and medium‑sized business customers, presenting DHL’s air, sea and road logistics solutions, and supporting existing accounts to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect S/M sized business customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their business and market needs.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate DHL solutions, including AFR/OFR product lines.
• Prepare and submit RFI/RFP/RFO responses, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure smooth operational handover.
• Collaborate with internal sales channels, product teams, and trade lane specialists to create tailored offers.
• Conduct joint customer visits, workshops and presentations on regulations, products and services.
• Utilise DGF CRM and other sales tools to track activities and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Fluent in Luxembourgish, German, French and English.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities in all four languages.
• Proven sales experience in competitive markets, preferably with a hunter mentality.
• High level of self‑confidence, initiative and commitment.
• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills.
