Registered Nurse for Epidemiological Surveys (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a Registered Nurse (Bachelor degree) to join the Medical Expertise and Data Intelligence (MEDI) service. The nurse will conduct epidemiological surveys in the field of Environmental Health as part of the EU‑funded PARC partnership, working full‑time (40 h/week) on a two‑year fixed‑term contract starting 1 April 2025.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute field‑based epidemiological surveys related to environmental and occupational health.
• Collect, handle, and transport biological and environmental samples according to protocol.
• Enter and validate survey data in the laboratory information system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, toxicological and epidemiological experts.
• Support the analysis of survey results within the MEDI laboratory.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Infirmier Diplômé) with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Eligible to practice nursing in Luxembourg.
• Interest or experience in public health, epidemiology or environmental health.
• Ability to work independently in field settings and travel as required.
