Real Estate Controller

About the role

Join an international real estate investment firm as a Real Estate Controller, supporting the Head of Controlling in Luxembourg. You will gain exposure to a diverse, growing portfolio of real‑estate assets across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Controlling in overseeing financial management of a multi‑entity real‑estate portfolio.
• Review and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports prepared by internal teams and external providers.
• Monitor investment performance, identify risks, trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and variance analysis across entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated reporting packages for senior management and shareholders.
• Liaise with auditors, administrators, tax advisors, banks and legal counsel.
• Support acquisition, financing, refinancing and restructuring projects from a finance perspective.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory, accounting and corporate‑governance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting frameworks and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in controlling, financial reporting, fund accounting or finance within real‑estate investment companies, real‑estate funds or private‑equity real‑estate platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, international environment.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
