Quality & Technical Coordinator (PhD) – Full-time

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a PhD‑qualified professional to split their time between quality coordination (40%) and technical coordination (60%) within the Department of Health Protection. The role supports public health initiatives by ensuring laboratory processes meet the highest standards and by overseeing technical activities related to environmental hygiene and human biomonitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Coordinate technical workflows for chemical and microbiological analyses of environmental and human samples.
• Lead the integration of new biomarkers of exposure and effect into routine testing.
• Collaborate with the Medical Expertise and Data Intelligence service to support epidemiological surveys and occupational health programs.
• Provide expert advice to hospitals, ministries and occupational medicine services.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., environmental health, analytical chemistry, microbiology).
• Proven experience in laboratory quality management and accreditation processes.
• Strong understanding of environmental and occupational health monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
