Quality & Technical Coordinator (PhD) – Full-time

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a qualified professional to split their time between quality coordination (40%) and technical coordination (60%) within the Department of Health Protection. This permanent, full‑time position supports the laboratory’s mission to protect public health through environmental and occupational health monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the laboratory’s quality management system in line with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Coordinate technical activities across the Environmental Hygiene and Human Biological Monitoring service and the Medical Expertise and Data Intelligence service.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Lead internal audits, manage corrective actions and support external accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with scientific teams, hospitals, ministries and occupational medicine services.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental health).
• Experience in a clinical or public‑health laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and accreditation procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
