Project Manager – Large‑Scale Transformation (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Project Manager to lead large‑scale transformation and ERP programmes for an EU institution based in Luxembourg. The assignment covers 240 onsite days from June 2026 to July 2027 and focuses on programme governance, planning, and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme management and PMO activities for complex, multi‑stream transformation projects.
• Establish and operate governance structures such as Steering Committees, reporting cycles, and decision frameworks.
• Plan, coordinate and track milestones, dependencies, risks and issues across multiple streams.
• Facilitate procurement and implementation phases of large ERP programmes.
• Prepare senior‑management materials and ensure clear communication with business, IT and vendor stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in large‑scale transformation or ERP programmes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in programme management support (PMO) within similar environments.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑stakeholder settings and manage complex governance processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
