Product Designer

About the role

R3 Robotics is looking for a Product Designer to own the human‑facing experience across its AI‑powered dismantling platform. You will shape the interfaces used by line operators, the Battery Disassembly Digital Platform, and the Fleet Management Portal, ensuring they are fast, safe, and intuitive.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end operator HMI, DigiOps, and Fleet Management portal, defining flows, interactions, visual language and a shared design system.
• Create safety‑critical UI that conveys clear states, unambiguous errors and rapid recognition under pressure.
• Conduct user research, map operator workflows, and define usability metrics such as time on task, error rate and training time.
• Test designs with real operators, iterate based on feedback, and integrate usability insights early in product decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and software engineering leads to deliver designs that are practical and quickly implementable.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product, UX or interaction design experience, preferably in B2B, enterprise, industrial or control‑system software.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction and interface design for data‑rich operational products.
• Strong user‑research skills with a track record of testing designs with real users.
• Fluency with modern design tools and ability to hand off assets cleanly to engineering.
