Process Engineer – Tyvek® Manufacturing

About the role

DuPont is seeking a Process Engineer to support and advance the manufacturing of Tyvek®, a high‑performance flash‑spun nonwoven material. You will work at the intersection of multiple engineering disciplines, driving operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability across our production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, reliability, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Provide daily technical support to production, optimizing line performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Identify, develop, and implement process and technology improvements that boost productivity and sustainability.
• Contribute to major CAPEX projects, including process design, engineering calculations, and technology implementation.
• Lead and participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and other risk‑management activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Maintain critical process technology documentation and standards.
• Support the evolution of Tyvek® technology through continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Curious, driven engineer with a passion for technology, problem‑solving, and continuous learning.
• Master’s degree preferred in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline; Bachelor’s degree with relevant industrial experience also considered.
• Fluent in German and English.
